1. Who we are
PXRITY is a Manchester-based mobile automotive technology and customisation service. For data-protection purposes, PXRITY is the controller of personal information collected through this website and during customer enquiries and bookings.
2. Information we collect
- name and contact details;
- vehicle registration, make, model, year, VIN or equipment details where needed;
- messages, photos, videos and documents sent by WhatsApp, email or social media;
- quote, booking, invoice, payment and installation records;
- technical website information and interaction data where analytics consent is given;
- information needed to respond to complaints, warranty requests or legal obligations.
3. How and why we use it
We use personal information to answer enquiries, check compatibility, prepare quotes, arrange and complete installations, provide aftercare, manage warranties, keep financial records, protect our business and improve the website. Depending on the purpose, our lawful basis may be taking steps before or performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, consent, or our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business.
4. Website analytics and Mouseflow
Mouseflow is only loaded after you accept analytics. It may collect interaction information such as clicks, scrolling, page navigation, device and browser information, and session-replay data. We use this to understand and improve the website. You can decline analytics or reopen cookie choices using the link in the Cookie Policy.
5. Sharing information
We may share information only where necessary with service providers such as website hosting, email, messaging, payment, accounting, analytics, parts suppliers, warranty providers or professional advisers. WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok and other platforms process information under their own privacy terms. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
6. International transfers
Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on the provider's lawful transfer arrangements and safeguards where required.
7. Retention
We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, including customer service, warranty, tax, accounting, insurance and legal requirements. Enquiry records that do not become bookings are reviewed periodically and deleted or minimised when no longer needed.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No internet or messaging service is completely secure, so please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.
9. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, receive portable data, and withdraw consent. These rights are not absolute and legal exceptions may apply.
10. Complaints
Please contact us first at enquiries@pxrity.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
11. Updates
We may update this notice when services, systems or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page.
