1. Installation workmanship
If you believe an installation fault has been caused by our workmanship, contact us promptly. We will inspect the vehicle and, where the issue is our responsibility, take reasonable steps to put the service right without unnecessary cost or inconvenience.
2. PXRITY-supplied parts
For parts supplied by PXRITY, we honour the applicable manufacturer's warranty and assist with the claim process. Warranty length and remedy vary by manufacturer and product. Your statutory rights concerning faulty goods remain unaffected.
3. Customer-supplied parts
Customer-supplied equipment is installed without a PXRITY parts warranty or guarantee. Fault diagnosis, removal, refitting or replacement work relating to a defective customer-supplied product may be chargeable. This does not affect responsibility for our own workmanship.
4. What is normally covered
- verified installation faults caused by our wiring, connections, routing or fitment;
- manufacturer-covered defects in equipment supplied by PXRITY;
- reasonable corrective work where a service was not performed with reasonable care and skill.
5. What is normally not covered
- damage, misuse, impact, water ingress, contamination or neglect after installation;
- unauthorised repair, removal, rewiring, coding or modification by another person;
- vehicle faults, battery problems, alternator faults, software changes or electrical problems unrelated to the installation;
- normal wear, consumables, cosmetic deterioration or user-configured settings;
- loss of app, network, subscription or cloud functionality controlled by a third party;
- customer-supplied parts or missing accessories;
- damage caused by ignoring instructions or continuing to use equipment after a fault becomes apparent.
6. Diagnostic and attendance charges
Inspection may be chargeable where the issue is found to be unrelated to our work, caused by customer-supplied equipment, misuse, a vehicle fault or third-party alteration. Any likely charge will be explained before chargeable work continues.
7. Making a claim
Email enquiries@pxrity.com or contact us through WhatsApp with your name, vehicle, installation date, description of the problem, when it began, and clear photos or videos where useful. Do not dismantle or modify the installation before we have had a reasonable opportunity to assess it.
8. Remedies
Depending on the issue and your legal rights, the remedy may include inspection, re-performance, repair, replacement, manufacturer claim support, price reduction or refund. The appropriate remedy depends on the facts and applicable law.
9. Removal and reversibility
Removal is not automatically included. Where installations involved trim cuts, drilled holes, loom splicing or coding, some lasting changes may remain. Professional removal and restoration work may be chargeable unless required as a legal remedy for a fault.
