1. Scope
These terms apply to quotes, supply of equipment and installation services provided by PXRITY. Your quote, booking confirmation and any written vehicle-specific information form part of the agreement.
2. Quotes and compatibility
Quotes are based on the information supplied by the customer and may change if the vehicle, equipment, wiring, trim, existing faults or installation requirements differ from what was described. Compatibility is confirmed as far as reasonably possible before work, but some issues can only become apparent after inspection or disassembly.
3. Bookings and deposits
A booking is confirmed when PXRITY accepts it and any requested deposit is received. Where a deposit, cancellation charge or special-order condition applies, it will be communicated before payment. Deposits are applied to the final balance. Your statutory cancellation rights are unaffected.
4. Distance and off-premises bookings
Where consumer cancellation rights apply to a booking made online, by phone or away from business premises, the usual cancellation period for a service contract is 14 days from the contract date. If you expressly ask us to begin work during that period, you may be required to pay for work properly completed before cancellation. Once a service has been fully performed after your express request and acknowledgement, the cancellation right may end. Bespoke or specially ordered goods may be subject to different rules.
5. Customer responsibilities
- provide accurate vehicle and equipment information;
- ensure lawful ownership or authority to approve the work;
- remove valuables and provide reasonable access to the vehicle;
- disclose known electrical, mechanical, water-ingress, battery, coding or trim faults;
- follow aftercare and operating instructions.
6. Vehicle condition and existing faults
PXRITY is not responsible for pre-existing defects, brittle or previously damaged trim, non-standard wiring, hidden corrosion, water damage, weak batteries, prior repairs or faults unrelated to our work. We will explain material issues discovered and seek approval before significant additional work.
7. Modifications
Some installations require trimming, drilling, cable-routing holes, loom splicing, coding or other lasting changes. These may be visible after removal. Material modifications known in advance will be explained before work starts. By approving the work, you authorise the agreed modifications.
8. Customer-supplied equipment
We may fit customer-supplied parts by agreement. PXRITY does not provide a parts warranty or guarantee for equipment it did not supply. The customer remains responsible for compatibility, completeness, quality and seller support. This does not remove responsibility for carrying out our installation service with reasonable care and skill.
9. Supplied equipment
Equipment supplied by PXRITY must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for any purpose made known and accepted. Manufacturer warranty arrangements may apply in addition to statutory rights.
10. Installation standard
Services will be carried out with reasonable care and skill. Factory functions are retained where stated and technically possible. Results may vary by vehicle specification, software, third-party product design and existing condition.
11. Timing
Installation times are estimates. Delays may arise from vehicle design, hidden faults, missing parts, weather, access, supplier delays or additional work approved by the customer.
12. Payment and collection
Unless agreed otherwise, payment is due on completion before the vehicle or keys are released. The customer must arrange prompt collection or access at the agreed time.
13. Testing and limited vehicle movement
You authorise reasonable operation, diagnostics and short vehicle movement where necessary to test the installation. Any road test will only be carried out where reasonably required and legally permitted.
14. Cancellations and missed appointments
Please provide as much notice as possible. Reasonable costs already incurred, special-order items and work already completed may be chargeable where lawful. Repeated missed appointments may require advance payment before rebooking.
15. Liability
PXRITY is responsible for loss or damage caused by a failure to use reasonable care and skill or by other liability that cannot legally be excluded. We are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses, loss caused by inaccurate customer information, misuse, unauthorised alterations, pre-existing faults or third-party products outside our control.
16. Complaints
Contact enquiries@pxrity.com with the booking details, fault description and supporting photos or videos. We will assess the concern and explain the next steps.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory rights to bring proceedings in another applicable UK jurisdiction.
